The
Bentley Mulsanne was a performance luxury car
produced by Bentley Motors Limited from 1980 through
1992, though derivative models like the Continental
T and Azure lasted into the 2000s. The name is
derived from Bentley's famous history, which
included five victories at the 24 hours of Le Mans —
the 'Mulsanne Straight' being the stretch of the Le
Mans racecourse where cars reach their highest
speeds. The Mulsanne shared the traditional 6.75 L
(6750 cc/411 in³) Rolls-Royce V8 with aluminium
alloy cylinder heads. Two SU carburettors were
replaced by Bosch fuel injection on all cars from
1986. All Mulsannes use a 3-speed automatic
transmission. For more information

generation was the first Cadillac to be entirely
engineered to be built in both left- and
right-hand-drive form. (Catera didn't count as it
started out as the Opel Omega). In the past, the
right-hand-drive Cadillac had been done with the CKD
kits or special conversion kits shipped to the
certain countries for local conversion. That
generation was the first modern Cadillac ever to be
officially imported and sold in South Africa along
with other right-hand-drive markets such as the UK.
The cars got a new MagneRide adaptive suspension
system in 2003. The fifth generation Seville was
discontinued for 2004, replaced by the rear wheel
drive Cadillac STS. Production of the front-wheel
drive Seville STS ended on May 16, 2003 and the SLS
ended on December 5, 2003. All front-wheel drive
Sevilles were built in Hamtramck, Michigan. Engines
